"One Kiss"

One kiss is all I want
To take away my tears
And give me a healthy smile

"Thinking About You"

Published: 05/18/2012 by Gary R. Hess in Poems

When I ate today at noon
All I could think about was you
Wishing you were here to do what you do
Wishing I could feed you with my spoon
Hoping someday I'll see your smile again

Your short blonde hair
The way it floats in the air

My tears are flowing for you
As my mind wonders and heart beats
My body is nothing without you

Your Family

Your family are people, you can depend,
If you get in trouble, they shall defend.
They are the one's that understand,
Always willing to give you a hand.

"Air and Angels"

Published: 05/14/2012 by John Donne in Poems

I have always thought that John Donne and Robert Graves were the most enticing writers of love poems – partly because they do seem to write to and about real women. \"Air and Angels\" is one of the greatest poems in the language:

Wisława Szymborska (1923-2012) is not famous for so-called \"love poetry\" but her subtle simplicity shapes any theme she works on. I am fascinated by her poem \"Thank-You Note\", where she expresses gratitude for \"those I don\'t love\"

"Love After Love"

Published: 05/14/2012 by Derek Walcott in Poems

"Love After Love" by Derek Walcott is about something that's become very pop-culturish, loving yourself after a break-up, but it is beautifully written and I love that it has an affirming quality without being sentimental.
